Complete refurbishment of a Grade II listed, 5 storey detached townhouse. The proposal involved reconfiguring the layout and a full height rear extension. Much of the existing internal finishes are listed and required careful consideration when specifying new materials to retain the historic details within the scheme. The existing conservatory was demolished and replaced with a new timber framed, glazed structure leading out to a new playfully landscaped garden designed to accommodating for the young children in the family. For sustainability, a rainwater recycling and irrigation system is to be implemented and accommodation for future installation of solar panels.
