Conversion of a top floor apartment to a penthouse. The loft space above was negotiated to be demised to the apartment and opened up to create double ceiling height. The introduction of large roof lights allowed the open plan living and kitchen area to be flooded with light. The access to the roof terrace was relocated and designed with a generous floating staircase complete with a remote operated sliding roof light box with rain sensors. The elevator allows direct access into the apartment. The exposed brick wall, smoked oak floors and open plan layout give a notion of a typical Soho loft.
